Usman ATrain or Taxi to Terminal 3?
Heathrow Express and Elizabeth Line both stop at the combined T2/T3 station. From Terminal 3 arrivals, that's a short walk through the central terminals area. The Express runs every 15 minutes to Paddington; the Elizabeth Line is slower but cheaper.
Trains run fast, but luggage, queues and stairs eat the time savings. Weekend engineering can also reroute your journey unannounced. A pre-booked taxi drops you right at T3 departures.
Booking a Taxi to Terminal 3
Pre-book your taxi and the fare is set the moment you confirm. No meter, no surge. All Heathrow drop-off charges are included. Adding your flight number at booking lets us track delays automatically.
Where your driver drops you
We drop you at the Terminal 3 departures level. Look for the airline sign matching your flight: Virgin Atlantic, Emirates, American or another Oneworld carrier. The 10-minute drop-off limit applies; the £7 charge is inside your fixed fare.
Best route to T3
For most pickups, the route runs to the central terminal area via the M4 Junction 4 access road. From central London, the A4 then M4 takes about 45 minutes off-peak. The terminal entry is signposted from the M4 spur.
Early flights and tight check-in
T3 long-haul flights to Asia and the Middle East often depart late morning or evening. Emirates flies to Dubai multiple times a day. Allow at least three hours before take-off for any long-haul check-in.

Where your driver waits
Heathrow doesn't allow private hire pickup at the kerb. Your driver waits in Short Stay Car Park 3, the multi-storey directly opposite the T3 arrivals hall. Walk through the exit, head straight across, and take the lift to Level 1.
How you find your driver
Before you land, we email your driver's name, car and registration. Once you're through customs, message your driver on WhatsApp. No UK SIM? Connect to "_Heathrow Wi-Fi" inside T3 and message at no cost.
Heading to London after landing
T3 to central London is one of our most-booked routes. The motorway exit drops you onto the A4, which becomes Cromwell Road through Kensington. Central London takes about 45 minutes off-peak.
Prefer to be met inside arrivals?
Add meet and greet for £20 at booking. Your driver waits in the T3 arrivals hall holding a name board near the exit. How much is a taxi to Heathrow Terminal 3?
Fares are fixed at booking with no surge pricing. A saloon to T3 starts from £38 for local pickups. Distance routes: Kensington £60, Watford £68, Brighton £128. Enter your address for an exact quote.
Where do taxis pick up at Heathrow Terminal 3?
At Short Stay Car Park 3, Level 1, directly opposite the T3 arrivals hall. Heathrow does not allow kerb pickup at the terminal. Walk across and take the lift to Level 1 to find your driver.
Is Terminal 3 the same as Terminal 2?
No, but they share a station and walking access. T2 and T3 are next to each other in the central terminal area. If you've landed at T3 and your taxi shows T2 pickup, walk over rather than re-routing.
What if my flight is delayed?
